Our History
Rosemary Saffold, and eight intercessors were led to travail in the Spirt on a teleconference prayer line. They were excited to shared what God had download to them. They knew God was up to something wonderful, awesome and magnificent, beyond anything they could ask or think.
Several weeks had passed and the intercessors continued to seek God for clarity and direction for the new thing.
On August 17- 19, 2007. Rosemary, along with twenty-one intercessors and three teenagers represented nine denominations at the Word International Deborah Fire Retreat, in Lake Hughes, CA. under the vision of Sister Tess Cordero.
Little did the intercessors know God was raising up a prophetic ministry out of ministries at the retreat that would transcend into National and International territories.
Rosemary did not want to move ahead of God, therefore upon returning home from the retreat she and the intercessors continued to fast and pray for the timing of the Lord. Rosemary said, “I believe everything happens in God’s perfect timing".
Through fasting, praying, and confirmations on Mary Brown’s X-treme Pray-er Line, the Lord solidified the new ministry. He named it “God’s Team Gatekeepers International Ministries (GTI). God birthed this ministry out of ministries to advance the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6: 10)
This ministry is a group of devoted intercessors on fire for God and is hungry for an out pour of the Supernatural through signs, wonders and miracle.
On December 13-15, 2008 Women of Destiny-Igniters of the Fire Ministries, and God’s Team co-hosted a Summit in Livermore, California. At this Summit the Lord brought clarity and directions for the two ministries would be two separate entities.
A week later God’s Team was redefined, established and organized. This ministry will consist of multicultural groups of yielded vessels committed to God for the saving of souls.
The Vision is the World, The Passion is Souls and the Focus is Evangelism!
God’s Team was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2010.
God’s Team is a Holy Ghost led ministry; therefore “No one takes glory for this ministry but God.” This is the Lord’s doings and it is marvelous in my eyes.
